PopCap Games is working on another Peggle title, and the game will likely be released soon, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson announced during an investor call today.
"A much-anticipated new Peggle game from PopCap is moving through a test period in preparation for launch," said Wilson.
Asked to provide more details, an EA representative declined to comment beyond the statement above. PopCap released Peggle 2 (screenshot above) last December on Xbox One, and earlier this year on Xbox 360. It's possible that Wilson was referring to a free-to-play version of the original Peggle on mobile devices, which EA began testing on the App Store in New Zealand and Singapore this past spring.
